Cancelation Policy: Sigatoka River Safari requires 48 hours’ notice for any cancelation. Any cancellation made between 0-24 hours of tour departure will incur 100% cancelation fees. A 24 – 48 hour notice will incur 50% cancellation fees.

All guests must be ready by their resort lobby at least 10 minutes prior to pick up time. Self-drive guests must be at Tappoo Sigatoka at least 15 minutes before departure.

A.M. meal at the village is served at approximately 11.45am

Suggestion: Parents bringing infants and young children to bring own snacks for their children to have along the way should they be hungry prior to arrival to the village.

Guests must have breakfast prior to morning tour and brunch prior to afternoon tour. Please note, above meal times in the village.

Please bring: camera with lots of batter power, bottle of water, sunscreen, change of clothes and towel, a sense of adventure, proper shoes (old runners, slippers), sunglasses and hat.

Our goal at Sigatoka River Safari is to help improve the village’s living standards. We have achieved this to date with the help of our guests, as part of the proceeds from the tour is contributed directly to the various villages we visit. This sees these monies go entirely to these remote villages and allows them to be used by the villages in their various village projects. This process enables self-determination for the villagers and has provided them the ability to meet all their social and cultural obligations, without placing strain on the individual village members and families.

The company visits a different village each day of the week with villages hosting once a week for 6 months. We have a set of 6 villages during the dry season from May to October and another set of 6 villages during the wet season from November to April.

*Robinson Crusoe Sunset Dinner & Show
After a big “Bula” welcome onto the island, you can join in the sing along by the beach bonfire while capturing the last moments of the setting sun. During your time on the island, you will learn about many of Fiji’s cultural rituals including the unearthing of the “lovo” earth oven and a fire walking demonstration. After dinner, you will be entertained with a historical pacific culture dance show featuring Fiji’s best fire & knife dancers. The show culminates in a heart stopping acrobatic fire display by the ocean. A truly captivating experience that is not to be missed!

Cancellation Charges
Please note, cancelled bookings will incur charges. Our travel service providers are entitled to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
